RL-RP Series Raman Probe

RealLight RL-RP Standard Raman Probe Product Introduction

1. Product Overview
The RL-RP series standard fiber-coupled Raman probe is independently developed by RealLight for Raman spectrum acquisition. It supports four mainstream excitation wavelengths: 532 nm, 785 nm, 830 nm and 1064 nm, enabling non-destructive testing of solids, liquids and powders. Optimized optical architecture delivers high coupling efficiency, low optical loss and excellent batch-to-batch consistency. Equipped with OD6 ultra-deep blocking notch filters, it effectively suppresses Rayleigh scattering and greatly improves signal-to-noise ratio of weak Raman peaks.
Matched with RealStable® NLM / NLMO narrow linewidth lasers, it forms a complete high-performance Raman testing system. Optional accessories include manual optical shutters, customized fiber connectors and variable working distance sampling tips to satisfy diverse laboratory and field measurement scenarios.

2. Core Product Advantages
2.1 OD6 Ultra-High Blocking Depth for Superior SNR
Premium notch filters with OD6 optical density provide extreme attenuation of Rayleigh scattered laser light (transmittance as low as 0.0001%). It fully eliminates intense excitation light masking faint low-frequency Raman signals, supporting precise spectral analysis of minerals, organics and battery materials.

2.2 High Coupling & Low Loss Design for High Sensitivity
Separate excitation and collection fiber layout: 105 μm launch fiber paired with 200 μm large-core collection fiber at NA 0.22 for outstanding light gathering capacity. Coaxially calibrated optical path minimizes transmission loss, producing clear identifiable Raman spectra even for low-concentration or weakly scattering samples.

2.3 Full Wavelength Coverage with Broad Spectral Window
Four standard models cover visible to near-infrared bands with dedicated Raman shift ranges: 176–4000 cm⁻¹ @532 nm ideal for organics and biosamples; 785/830 nm versions suppress fluorescence interference; 1064 nm minimizes background luminescence for polymers and dark minerals, covering material, chemical and biomedical research demands.

2.4 Compact Integrated Body for Versatile Deployment
Ultra-compact probe housing measures only 107×30×13 mm, suitable for handheld operation or equipment embedding. Standard 7.5 mm working distance provides ample sample clearance for solids and liquids without complex fixtures. All-in-one pigtail design delivers fiber length of (100+30)±0.2 cm, balancing flexibility and stability.

2.5 Universal Interfaces & Strong Customization Potential
Launch end supports SMA905 and FC/PC connectors; collection end adopts standard SMA905, compatible with most commercial narrow linewidth Raman lasers and spectrometers. Optional manual shutter and custom working distance tips simplify integration into automated testing instruments and portable analyzers.

2.6 Wide Environmental Tolerance & Long-Term Stability
Stable operation between 10–30 ℃ and 0–75% RH for standard laboratories and outdoor field inspection. Uniform coating and assembly processes guarantee consistent optical performance across batches with no optical drift during prolonged operation for repeatable test data.

3. Main Application Fields
3.1 University & Scientific Laboratories
Characterization of carbon materials (graphene, carbon nanotubes), lithium battery electrodes, semiconductor wafers, mineral crystals and polymer composites for molecular vibrational peak research.

3.2 Chemical & Food On-Site Inspection
Non-destructive screening of liquid reagents, edible oils, wines and pesticide residues on fruits & vegetables; rapid authenticity identification of solid powder raw materials for production line quality control.

3.3 Environmental & Hazardous Material Identification
Portable on-site detection of soil contaminants, sediment and flammable/toxic chemicals for customs and environmental monitoring mobile Raman equipment.

3.4 Biomedicine & Cultural Relics Analysis
Purity testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, non-invasive biological tissue spectroscopy; non-destructive composition identification of ancient ceramics, pigments and gemstones without sample damage.
