MCJ Series 1ns Microchip Laser 257nm

RealLight MCJ Series 1ns Microchip Laser
The MCJ Series 1ns microchip laser is a RealSubns® diode-pumped passively Q-switched solid-state laser independently developed by RealLight. Featuring ultra-short pulses, stable energy output, superior beam quality and compact structure, it serves as a high-performance pulsed laser source for material micromachining, spectral detection, LiDAR, optical pumping and biomedicine. It fully meets the demands of equipment integration, scientific research, mass production and secondary development.
Adopting an integrated design of diode pump module and laser crystal, the laser head measures only 45×33×120 mm, and the power supply unit is 180×102×180 mm. The compact layout enables easy installation and modular integration into precision instruments, automated processing equipment and optical systems. The fully sealed laser head delivers excellent protection and long-term operational stability, and supports customized secondary development. Equipped with both internal and external triggering modes, the laser can be precisely synchronized with timing control systems and multi-stage optical components. Dual RS232 and USB control interfaces simplify parameter setting and daily maintenance. Powered by universal 100~240 VAC (50/60 Hz) input, it is applicable worldwide with total power consumption no more than 45 W for energy-efficient operation. It operates stably within 15℃~35℃ and can be stored at 0℃~60℃, adapting to laboratories, industrial workshops and outdoor sites. A customized built-in beam expander is available to reduce beam divergence to below 2 mrad for high-precision optical paths.
In terms of optical performance, the laser comes with four wavelengths: 1030 nm, 515 nm, 343 nm and 257 nm. The 343 nm and 257 nm models adopt side beam output, while 1030 nm and 515 nm adopt central beam output, suiting diverse optical path designs. The minimum pulse width reaches 800 ps with clean pulse waveforms and no trailing edges, which effectively restrains thermal diffusion and thermal damage, and improves the accuracy of precision machining and spectral detection. The maximum repetition rate is up to 2 kHz, and the standard repetition rate is 1 kHz with steady energy output. The maximum single-pulse energy hits 100 μJ at 1030 nm, and the energy of other wavelengths is 40 μJ, 20 μJ and 8 μJ respectively, covering various power requirements. The laser emits standard TEM00 beam with a polarization ratio over 100:1 and outstanding polarization stability. The divergence angle is well controlled with uniform spots. The 8-hour RMS power stability is better than 3%, ensuring consistent output during long-term operation and repeatable results for production and experiments.
With diverse wavelength options, excellent optical specifications, strong integration capability and reliable performance, the MCJ Series has a wide range of applications. It is widely used for precision material micromachining in industry, and acts as a core light source for spectral analysis and optical experiments as well as an excellent optical pump source in scientific research. It is also applicable to LiDAR detection and biomedical optical equipment development. Easy to integrate and low-maintenance, this cost-effective microchip laser provides stable and trustworthy light source support for laboratory research, high-end laser equipment R&D and outdoor detection system upgrading, making it a top choice for sub-nanosecond pulsed laser applications.

MCJ series RealSubns® microchip lasers are compact, economical and reliable diode pumped passively Q-switched solid state lasers independently developed by Reallight, with stable output energy, high peak powers and excellent beam quality. The system supports internal trigger and external trigger.
