MCL Series 2.5ns Microchip Laser 1319nm

RealLight MCL Series 2.5ns Microchip Laser
The MCL Series 2.5ns microchip laser is a RealSubns® diode-pumped passively Q-switched solid-state laser developed by RealLight. It features clean pulse waveforms, stable single-pulse energy, superior beam quality and high polarization stability. As an excellent pulsed laser source, it is widely applied in photodynamic therapy, environmental monitoring, LiDAR, laser remote sensing, spectroscopy and laser display, and fully meets the requirements of equipment integration, secondary development and long-term continuous operation.
Adopting an integrated design of diode pump module and laser crystal, the laser head measures only 45×33×120 mm, and the power supply unit is 180×102×180 mm. The compact structure facilitates installation and modular integration into precision equipment, testing instruments and optical systems. The fully sealed laser head delivers high reliability and allows in-depth secondary development. Supporting both internal and external triggering modes, the laser can achieve precise synchronization with timing systems and optical components. Equipped with dual RS232 and USB control interfaces, it enables easy parameter configuration and maintenance. Powered by universal 100~240 VAC (50/60 Hz) input, the laser works worldwide with power consumption no more than 45 W. It operates stably at 15℃~35℃ and can be stored at 0℃~60℃, adapting to medical institutions, outdoor monitoring stations and laboratories. A customized built-in beam expander is available to reduce beam divergence to below 2 mrad for high-precision optical paths.
In terms of optical performance, the laser is available at 1319 nm and 660 nm, both adopting side output structure to suit various optical path designs. The pulse width is 2500 ps (2.5 ns) at 1319 nm with maximum single-pulse energy of 50 μJ and average power of 50 mW. The 660 nm version has a pulse width of 2000 ps (2 ns), single-pulse energy of 10 μJ and average power of 10 mW. The maximum repetition rate of both versions reaches 1 kHz. The laser emits standard TEM00 beam with uniform spots and well-controlled divergence angles. Its polarization ratio is over 100:1 for excellent polarization stability. The 8-hour RMS power stability is better than 3%, ensuring consistent output during long-term operation and guaranteeing accurate results for medical treatment, environmental monitoring, spectral experiments and display applications. The pulse without trailing edges effectively reduces thermal interference and improves overall operational precision.
With distinctive wavelength options, stable optical performance and strong integration capability, the MCL Series serves multiple fields. It acts as a core light source for photodynamic therapy in the medical industry, and is ideal for LiDAR, laser remote sensing and environmental monitoring in security and detection sectors. It also supports scientific spectral research and innovative laser display development. Featuring easy integration, high reliability and low maintenance, this microchip laser provides stable and powerful light source support for commercial equipment mass production, laboratory construction and outdoor monitoring systems, making it a cost-effective solution for medium & short pulse laser applications.

MCL series microchip lasers are RealLight’s self-developed, passively Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state lasers, featuring stable single pulse energy, excellent beam quality and high reliability. The integrated design of diode-pumped module and laser crystal brings convenience to installation and integration due to the compact size. MCL series provides various wavelengths include 1319nm and 660nm, and supports internal and external triggering. The internal hermetic module of the laser head is available to customers for tailor-made development.
