RL-HP-01 Handpieces

RealLight RL-HP-01 Multi-Functional Fiber Handpiece for Aesthetic Skin Treatment

1. Product Overview
RL-HP-01 is a standardized fiber therapeutic handpiece independently developed by RealLight for aesthetic skin treatment, onychomycosis therapy and photothermal pain relief. The complete assembly consists of a handheld main body, interchangeable optical lenses, armored delivery fiber and SMA905 flange connector. It is compatible with mainstream 600–1100 nm diode lasers (808/980/1064 nm, etc.) and perfectly matches RealLight AW series single-wavelength and multi-wavelength diode lasers, serving as the standard supporting therapeutic handpiece for devices dedicated to telangiectasia removal, onychomycosis repair, soft tissue analgesia and skin rejuvenation.
Adopting a low-loss fiber optical path and multiple interchangeable optical lenses with flexibly adjustable spot sizes, it delivers uniform, highly targeted laser beams. The metal-armored fiber features excellent bending resistance and durability, and customized trigger switches are available. It supports portable operation in biomedical clinics and dermatology offices, and is also compatible with research scenarios such as spectral detection and material analysis to realize multi-purpose application with lower system integration costs.

2. Core Product Advantages (Biomedical & Aesthetic Clinical Orientation)
2.1 Four interchangeable lenses covering all biomedical physiotherapy treatments
Four standard optical heads are provided for free switching to meet diverse treatment demands:
L101A focusing lens (adjustable 1/2/3 mm spot sizes): Precisely targets capillaries and nail bed fungi for telangiectasia occlusion, onychomycosis sterilization and localized pain relief;
L201A collimating lens (5 mm spot): Conventional skin rejuvenation and superficial inflammation repair;
L301A small beam expander (20 mm spot): Uniform large-area facial resurfacing;
L302A large beam expander (30 mm spot): Wide-range physiotherapy and pain relief for limbs and back.
Spot tolerance reaches ±20%, enabling flexible treatment area adjustment for facial zones, nails and body parts.

2.2 Wide spectral compatibility of 600–1100 nm covering all golden biomedical wavelengths
It supports all commonly used red and near-infrared biomedical wavelengths: 808/980 nm near-infrared light achieves deep penetration to reach dermal capillaries and deep fungi inside nail beds; 630/650 nm red light realizes photobiomodulation to accelerate tissue repair and relieve pain. The overall transmittance of the fiber exceeds 90% with minimal laser transmission loss, so nearly all laser output energy acts on target tissues for higher treatment efficiency and lower energy consumption.

2.3 Durable 400 μm large-core armored fiber for user-friendly operation
The 400 μm core multi-mode fiber with NA=0.22 delivers even energy distribution without hotspots. The outer metal armor sleeve (6 mm outer diameter) is tensile-resistant and resistant to breakage after repeated bending. The standard fiber length of 2 m fits clinical operating tables, with customizable lengths available. The input end adopts a universal SMA905 plug-and-play connector, which can be directly matched with most mainstream biomedical diode laser hosts on the market.

2.4 Uniform low-damage beam for improved clinical comfort
The optimized optical path delivers highly uniform beams without local energy hotspots to avoid accidental epidermal burns during treatment. For vascular lesion removal, it gently occludes dilated capillaries without damaging surrounding healthy epidermis. For onychomycosis treatment, laser penetrates nail plates accurately to eliminate fungi. The physiotherapy mode provides mild anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, greatly reducing the risk of postoperative redness and scabbing and shortening recovery periods.

2.5 Customizable control switches for easy equipment integration
The handpiece can be equipped with foot or handheld trigger switches to realize timing linkage with laser hosts. The standardized mechanical structure eliminates additional mold opening costs for equipment manufacturers, enabling rapid integration into various beauty, physiotherapy and onychological devices with short lead times for mass matching orders.

2.6 Wide environmental adaptability for stable long-term clinic use
Operating temperature ranges from 10 ℃ to 30 ℃, and storage temperature ranges from -20 ℃ to 60 ℃. Continuous long-term operation in standard constant-temperature biomedical clinics will not cause optical path attenuation, and lenses are protected from contamination by water vapor and dust with simple daily cleaning and maintenance.

3. Core Biomedical & Aesthetic Clinical Applications
3.1 Facial Telangiectasia (Red Blood Streak Removal)
Matched with the L101A small focusing spot, 808/980 nm near-infrared laser is selectively absorbed by hemoglobin inside blood vessels to gently occlude dilated capillaries and improve flushing and sensitive skin. The tiny spot enables precise operation on delicate areas around the nose and eyes with low risk of postoperative pigmentation.

3.2 Radical Treatment of Onychomycosis
The focusing lens penetrates nail plates to reach nail beds, and photothermal effects disrupt fungal cell membranes to eliminate deep pathogenic bacteria. Precise thermal control prevents burns on healthy periungual skin. Combined with standardized treatment courses, it accelerates healthy nail regrowth and reduces reliance on oral antifungal drugs with fewer systemic side effects.

3.3 Soft Tissue Anti-Inflammation & Pain Relief Therapy
Photobiomodulation effect of 630/808 nm wavelengths boosts local blood circulation and inhibits inflammatory factors to relieve joint pain, muscle strain and swelling of postoperative wounds. Large beam expanders deliver wide-area irradiation on shoulders, necks and limbs, ideal for postoperative repair and pain management in physiotherapy centers and dermatology departments.

3.4 Skin Rejuvenation, Acne Mark & Superficial Lesion Repair
Uniform expanded spots of 5/20/30 mm stimulate dermal collagen regeneration to improve rough skin and red acne marks. The treatment is mild and non-invasive, suitable for periodic facial revitalization management.

3.5 Extended Research & Industrial Scenarios
Beyond biomedical applications, it can be used as supporting accessories for experimental equipment including biological tissue spectroscopy, material micro-irradiation and miniature laser processing.
