MCA Series 1.5ns Microchip Laser 355nm

RealLight MCA Series 1.5ns Microchip Laser
Independently developed by RealLight, the MCA Series 1.5ns microchip laser is a RealSubns® diode-pumped passively Q-switched solid-state laser. Combining narrow pulse width, high pulse energy, superior beam quality and outstanding operational stability, it serves as a high-performance pulsed laser source widely applied in LiDAR, precision detection, spectral analysis, biomedicine, 3D imaging and other fields, suitable for industrial production, scientific research and equipment integration.
Adopting an integrated design of diode pump module and laser crystal, the laser head measures merely 45×33×120 mm, and the power supply unit is 180×102×180 mm. The compact structure enables easy installation and integration. The fully sealed laser head features high reliability and supports customized secondary development. Equipped with both internal and external triggering functions, the laser can be flexibly synchronized with timing control systems and optical components. It comes with dual RS232 and USB control interfaces for convenient operation. With a universal 100~240 VAC (50/60 Hz) power input, it is applicable worldwide. The total power consumption is no more than 45 W for high energy efficiency. It operates stably within 15℃~35℃ and can be stored at 0℃~60℃, adapting to laboratories, outdoor monitoring stations and industrial workshops.
In terms of optical performance, the laser is available in four mainstream wavelengths: 1064 nm, 532 nm, 355 nm and 266 nm. Both central output and side output structures are optional to meet diverse optical path requirements for optical parametric oscillation pumping, mass spectrometry and fluorescence detection. It delivers an ultra-short pulse width down to 1.2 ns, which effectively reduces thermal interference and improves the accuracy of precision detection and imaging. The maximum single-pulse energy reaches 120 μJ, and the repetition rate ranges from 1 kHz to 20 kHz with multiple adjustable gears to balance energy output and working efficiency. The laser emits standard TEM00 beam with a polarization ratio over 100:1 and well-controlled divergence angle. Its 8-hour RMS power stability is better than 3%, ensuring consistent performance during long-term continuous operation.
With comprehensive performance and strong scalability, the MCA Series is ideal for LiDAR, laser ranging, atmospheric monitoring, laser ultrasonic testing, optical metrology, 3D scanning and imaging, laser ionization mass spectrometry, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy and biomedicine. It also acts as an excellent pump source for optical parametric oscillation. Featuring easy integration, high stability and low maintenance, this laser is a trustworthy light source for scientific laboratories, high-end laser equipment manufacturers and outdoor online monitoring systems, making it a top choice for sub-nanosecond pulsed laser applications.

MCA series microchip lasers are RealLight’s self-developed, passively Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state lasers, featuring stable single pulse energy, excellent beam quality and high reliability. The integrated design of diode-pumped module and laser crystal brings convenience to installation and integration due to the compact size. MCA series provides various wavelengths include 1064nm, 532nm, 355nm and 266nm, and supports internal and external triggering. The internal hermetic module of the laser head is available to customers for tailor-made development.
